How I Help Anxiety

“Our anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows,
but only empties today of its strengths.”
― Charles H. Spurgeon

How old were you when you first realized that your weren't enough?  Smart enough? Athletic enough? Beautiful enough? How did you learn this?

Likely, it was by a series of small incidences, trivial occurrences on their own, but collectively as iron clad as, well, Iron Man. And, all of these incidences have left their imprint, like a recorded message, and these imprinted limiting beliefs have shaped the person you have become.  It shows up in life by not taking risks, by not being promoted, by having anxiety, addictions, fears--the list goes on and on.

You know that feeling inside, the feeling that tells you that you aren't manifesting everything that you are capable of. That feeling that maybe you aren't worth it... aren't good enough... aren't smart enough...

“Man is not worried by real problems so much as by                                                                                                                his imagined anxieties about real problems"― Epictetus

The feeling of lack of confidence can be debilitating, if you let it.

Embrace that feeling now.  Thank it for making itself known to you. For showing you it's time for a change! That feeling is precisely what you need, call it a “motivating factor,” to catapult you in your journey of self-actualization and intrinsic discovery!

It’s time for you to purge the anxiety and stress that is bogging you down and not letting you live your best life.  If all we have is right now, isn't it time to make the most of it?  Isn't it time to ask for the raise, ask the cute girl out, go to the party, leave your house, sleep through the night??

Anxiety is debilitating.  You have the power to release it.

I am a certified life coach, NLP practitioner, Timeline Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist that specializes in anxiety, and anxiety related symptoms.  The common denominator of most issues in life, is anxiety, so no matter how your life is translating into symptoms, I will take you to the root of the issue and clear it there, releasing the parts that hold you back, helping you to live freely and fully.

Henry Ford once said, "Whether you think you CAN, or you think you CAN'T, you're RIGHT."

Well, this is a good starting point; shifting your beliefs about WHO you are in this world, and what you CAN do. Releasing the old, limiting beliefs and negative emotions.  And then letting the new beliefs, the new confidence and self-love, show you what an amazing life you are capable of having!

I am deeply committed to helping you on your path to awakening and wholeness, which naturally brings forth great confidence!  I will help YOU clear the patterns from your past that are holding you hostage in your present, releasing a tidal wave of positive possibilities for your future!

My calling is to help people see and express their unique beauty and gifts. You cannot fully manifest the best in you when anxiety has its grip on you, holding you back from fully experiencing all that life offers.  The journey is a yin and yang balance of pleasure and pain, learning and growing.  The destination is fulfillment and joy, a life worth celebrating. This is a process, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. I'm here with you, to go at your pace. To help you find your balance and personal rhythm.

Negative Emotions; Let Go of What Hurts

What happens when unresolved negative emotions still have a
"charge" to them?  Well, it can take form in many ways, depending upon the emotion and manifestation.
Often, it will move through your life like sonic waves of energy, mostly unseen, yet with a vibration that alters your experience of life. The subtle things... over-reacting to small incidents, crying over silly commercials, having anxiety for things that you logically know are out of your control, insomnia, etc... are all symptoms of unresolved negative emotions.

What would it be like if you could free the drain of a sadness that you experienced as a child, that is no longer relevant in your adult life?

What would it be like if you could drive down the highway and not be cussing out other drivers as you make your way?

What would it be like for you to do a presentation without feeling like you're a miserable failure and that you could puke on your boss at any time?

How about if you could sleep through the night without waking up a half dozen times worrying about this or that?

I have good news.

Truly, good news. You and I, we can work together and release the hold these negative emotions have on your life. Does that mean you'll never be angry again? Oh, heck no! If someone or something wrongs you, you will most certainly be able to be angry about it. Anger in and of itself isn't a bad thing.  The difference is that when you get angry it will be proportionate to the current situation.  When you get sad, lonely, afraid, worried, etc... it will be proportionate to the situation.

We do this through a technique called Time Line Therapy, where we access your memories, consciously remembered or not, and then get the very highest learnings from the experience. Once the learnings are attained and understood, it is very, very easy for us to let go of the "charge" attached to the emotion. You learned what you needed to learn, so now you can let go and move forward.  All of this happens at an unconscious level, although it feels like you are perfectly conscious. It's a very interesting, and empowering process!

This is a session that can be done in person and also via Skype, so no matter where you are in the world, as long as you can easily speak and understand English, I can help you release those negative emotions!

Happy New Year, 2014

I love this time of year. It's quite a "Christmas miracle" that we are able to collectively, for the most part, close up shop and allow the time and space for families to get together and share food, drink and gifts. In our world of hustle and bustle, it truly is a rare gift.

We look at the ending of the calendar as the beginning of new chances.  It's symbolic of all the possibilities that we may desire.  I've often wondered why the calendar begins in January, when it's cold and the land is in its dormant stage, instead of the Spring, when the new shoots of life are emerging from a still-frosty ground. And so I researched it, as any smart modern person would do, by "Googling". What I learned is that Julius Caesar, back in the day as he led the Roman armies into battle, conquering land and people alike, decided to create the Julian Calendar. He chose January 1st to be the start of the new year in honor of the Roman god Janus, the god of doors and gates. He had two faces, one facing backward and the other forward, which Caesar thought important and symbolic as we leave the past behind and move into the future.

Although I believe that Caesar's motives were ego based, and obviously there were many more reasons that he chose January 1st as the start of the new year, I do actually really appreciate the sentiment and metaphor of Janus. It's good to have a time that we can, collectively in humanity, leave the past behind us and start over. It's good to let go and free yourself of beliefs and patterns that bring you down or hold you back from your potential.

And, we are but potential. Every day of every year, we have the opportunity to learn something new, meet someone interesting, explore a new idea, forgive someone who wronged us, ask for forgiveness when we have wronged, tell someone they are special, live like there is no tomorrow and cross exciting things off of our bucket lists! We are OPPORTUNITY. Sometimes we may get into a funk where the visor is pulled down low over our eyes, so we can't see the path we are intended, but trust me... the path is there, right in front of you. Make your choices thoughtfully, as each choice carves out new opportunities. Don't be afraid to shift gears and make different choices, if the original choices aren't panning out as expected. When you realize that you aren't on your best path, you CAN do it over, systematically, but making better, more ecological choices again and again.

Align yourself this new year with opportunities that help you live your best life. Peace my friends.
